A one hour session focused on real life — not posing.

I work like a fly on the wall. I don’t direct, prompt, or arrange scenes. I simply observe and document what you and your kids are already doing — playing, wandering, helping in the kitchen, splashing in the yard, folding laundry, etc…

Sometimes a portrait happens. Most of the time, what matters more is the in-between: how they move, how they look when they’re focused, how they exist in their world. That’s what these photographs are about — childhood as it actually feels, not a performance for the camera.

Quantity:

A one hour session focused on real life — not posing.

Sessions are one hour long and shot exclusively in black and white.
This time is meant to be used for real, everyday life.
You don’t need to perform or pose, just plan to be doing something you’d normally be doing anyway.
If I wasn’t there, you’d still be living your life. That’s what I’m there to document:

- playing
- hanging out
